A leading global analytics and data company recently completed a significant multi-country asset carveout, adding advanced marketing analytics capabilities to its portfolio. The acquisition expanded the company’s footprint across media measurement and marketing mix modeling, while requiring rapid workforce integration in multiple countries.

Industry: Technology, AI & Data Analytics

Headquarters: US

Operations: Global

GoGlobal Support: Global Payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), International HR Consulting, Accounting, Tax, Global Payments

Countries in Scope: Poland, Singapore, Switzerland, Thailand, UAE

The Challenge: Complex Workforce Integration Across Borders

The acquisition created a unique operational challenge. Employees needed to transition across multiple countries, each with unique labor laws, benefits requirements and compliance obligations.

GoGlobal supported the integration with a tailored approach. TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings – Protection of Employment) was applied in Poland and Switzerland. Tripartite agreements and new employment contracts were offered to employees in the UAE, Singapore and Thailand.

Visa requirements added additional layers of complexity, which GoGlobal supported. This included Employer-Sponsored and Golden Visas in the UAEEmployment Passes in Singapore and Employer-Sponsored Visas in Thailand.

“Throughout this project, our partnership with the client was truly collaborative,” says Linda Lim, Director, Portfolio Management at GoGlobal. “Their openness, alignment and willingness to engage regularly allowed us to navigate shifting timelines and evolving conditions together. Our ability to stay flexible and respond quickly to every new development was essential to delivering a seamless workforce transition. This close partnership is ultimately what made the project such a success.”

This engagement was a large-scale project, combining both Business & Corporate Services (BCS) and Employer of Record (EOR) solutions in a single M&A carveout deal. It was a high-stakes, multi-country project with tight deadlines and evolving conditions.

The Solution: A Holistic, Multi-Service Approach

GoGlobal implemented a custom-built framework spanning Entity, HR and Finance solutions to address the client’s unique operational and compliance needs.

  • Payroll Services: GoGlobal also managed multi-country Global Payroll to ensure all employees were paid accurately and compliantly throughout the transition. By coordinating statutory requirements and payroll timelines across jurisdictions, GoGlobal provided consistent, risk-free payroll delivery during a fast-moving carveout.
  • Talent Transfer: EOR services enabled rapid onboarding and seamless management of employees without local entities. TUPE transfers and tripartite agreements ensured continuity of employment across the acquired asset.
  • Employee Engagement: Customized employment contracts addressed local labor laws while protecting employee entitlements.
  • Finance Support: Accounting, tax and payment (ATP) solutions delivered accurate, compliant compensation for all employees.
  • Visa Support: GoGlobal coordinated visa applications and approvals in Singapore, Thailand and the UAE to deliver uninterrupted employment.
  • Project Management: Dedicated account managers served as a single point of contact, distilling complex multi-country tasks into actionable plans. Daily check-ins, weekly updates and proactive problem-solving kept all stakeholders aligned.

“Global transactions move fast but we move faster,” notes Sariah Lutkin, Director, M&A and Special Projects. “Our proactive approach kept the workforce transition on track, with employees onboarded quickly and compliantly in every jurisdiction.”

The Result: Seamless Transition and Regulatory Confidence

GoGlobal’s hands-on approach delivered measurable outcomes across every region:

  • Rapid Onboarding: Employees transitioned smoothly without disruption to operations.
  • Compliance Assured and Easy: Local laws, reporting and regulatory obligations were managed proactively, reducing risk and giving stakeholders peace of mind.
  • Operational Clarity: Dedicated account managers simplified complex global processes for stakeholders.

“The project required a close partnership with the client and their legal, HR and operations teams,” says Sariah. “It strengthened our relationship with the client because they knew we had their back at every step.”

Linda adds, “Our expert consulting partners also played a critical supporting role, bridging gaps between buyer and seller and helping escalate challenges when needed. Their collaboration made the process smoother.”
