GoGlobal Receives ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management System

GoGlobal, a people-first international HR and Employer of Record (EOR), has achieved the ISO 27001 certification. This certification is a globally recognized standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and demonstrates GoGlobal’s commitment to providing clients with the highest levels of security.

Margaret Yip, GoGlobal Partner said, “As an EOR, our clients rely on us to keep their data safe. We recruit, hire and manage employees around the world, and it is imperative that our IT infrastructure is compliant with the information security measures required to minimize risk. We take this responsibility seriously and are pleased that our IT infrastructure is able to meet the highest international security standards.

ISO 27001 covers a broad range of measures such as policies and procedures to maintain and uphold confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, business continuity and disaster recovery, data encryption, incident reporting procedures and user behavior policies.

Organizations who comply with the requirements reap many benefits such as increased trustworthiness among customers, cost savings through reduced risk of attack or breach, and a better understanding of emerging threats so they can stay ahead of potential vulnerabilities before they become problems.

The certification is an important milestone for GoGlobal as it provides clients and client workers with the assurance that their sensitive data is safe and protected from potential vulnerabilities.

“Our clients rely on us to protect their data and information,” said Pushkar Bagmar, Director, Technology, Optimization and Data Privacy at GoGlobal. “The ISO 27001 certification demonstrates we have all aspects of information security management covered for our clients and assures them we will keep their information safe.”

GoGlobal began the certification process in January 2022 and achieved its certification from the highly-respected DNV registrar agency.
